For those who subscribe to Time Warner cable’s TV service, and are an iPad user, there is good news.

The App allows users to watch programs and/or movies from the cable service anywhere there is a Wi-Fi connection. These shows will be in HD, and there are about 30 channels available for live streaming.

It only works for those running iOS 4.2 and higher, and for only Time Warner Cable subscribers. Unfortunately, the App has been coming down with some problems lately and some of the live channels are not working as well as planned.

I have been told that future versions of this App will be able to do streaming without WiFi, as well as the ability to set up a DVR to record shows. You should be able to get the TWCable TV App now for free on the iTunes Store, and if you are having problems with it, let us know with a comment.
