Epson announces PowerLite X9, targets educational sector

Since times are pretty hard at the moment, many states have already introduced budget cuts in order to prevent the deficit from growing even larger. Needless to say, social welfare and education segments are affected, and this might just lead to a dumbed down nation in the long run, but hey, we’re paying for the sins of our fathers, no?

Rhetoric aside, Epson has offered a glimmer of hope to schools and educational institutions that are on a tight budget with the PowerLite X9, as this projector offers a pretty reasonable bang for your $599, considering it delivers 2,500 lumens color and white light output and XGA resolution for detailed, bright presentations in classrooms as well as small to medium sized conference rooms.

With USB Plug ‘n Play instant setup, you can control your presentation from either a Windows PC or Mac via a standard USB cable, helping you save time without waiting for everything else to be set up properly before class begins. Surely doing away with bulky VGA cables and toggling between computer keys is a joy to educators who can then concentrate better on teaching?

All purchases will come with a 2 year warranty from Epson. The PowerLite range had always been pretty decent, so this should be worth looking into.
