On Wednesday, a Chinese LCD company known as Hisense unveiled their latest TV set. According to the company, the new TV will be compatible with DivX Plus HD, providing customers with HD video quality in 1080p for movies and TV programs in DivX format with an MKV file container through the set’s USB slot. Apparently, this will be the first DTV OEM ever launched in China with the feature of DivX Plus HD provided. Hisense also plans to release the new TV set in Europe as well. Currently, there is no information concerning price or availability in other places.
