Being situated at Peterborough, Ontario Canada Bryston has been into business since 1962 as the manufacturer of blood analysis equipment. Bryston has proclaimed the launching of an audiophile Redbook CD player called the BCD-1.

The features of the product include fully Discrete Bryston Class A analog output stage, 128 times Over-sampling, Crystal 192k/24bit DAC, Independent Analog and Digital power supplies, Transformer coupled SPDIF and AES EBU Digital outputs, Balanced XLR and Unbalanced RCA Stereo outputs, Optical output, Remote 12 Volt Trigger, RS-232 software upgrade etc.

This product also comes equipped with Full function IR remote control, cosmetically matches C-Series BP26/MPS2, CD remote operates other Bryston products volume up/down/mute etc.

It technical specification incorporate Frequency Response of 20 Hz – 20 KHz – .2 D, THD plus Noise – .002%, 115 DB (un-weighted) Signal to Noise, Output Level of 2.3V Unbalanced and 4.6V Balanced etc.
