With devices like the Apple TV quickly approaching and competing companies like Roku pushing out their own offerings, consumers have a wide array of Internet connected set-top boxes to choose from.

One such device that has been in the making seemingly forever is the Boxee Box. This device features a very unique design (as seen above) and an Intel Atom CE4100 processor. This last minute switch from the NVIDIA Tegra 2 to the Intel Atom means the Boxee Box will now be capable of 1080p video playback at a noteworthy 60fps.

Price wise we’re looking at an MSRP of $220 but word on the street is Amazon will be shipping it for $200 come this November.
