Boss has added its latest digital audio multi-track recording hardware with the release of the Boss BR-800. This is a compact and portable recorder which can record four tracks simultaneously while also playing back 8 tracks.

This digital recorder features an on-board condenser mic, a dedicated stereo drum track, Boss GT-10/10B effects processing and a drum machine. It can record directly to SD cards of up to 32GB and is powered by six AA batteries which is good for up to 5.5 hours. The Boss BR-800 will retail for about $525. No word on the actual release date.
