Best Buy recently purchased the CinemaNow brand, which will allow them to sell movies online to web-connected players.

They intend to have “first run” movies for sale when they arrive on DVD, available for purchase at $9.99-$19.99, with rentals for $2.99-$3.99.

Well, we’ll see how this goes down. I’m sure it probably will be quite well.
