AVerMedia Unveils New Wireless Media Player

A new multimedia device has been announced by AVerMedia Technologies. They developed a wireless media player called the AVerLife Extreme Vision. It is multi-functional, allowing users to play video, audio and put photos right onto their television sets. With the addition of a wireless USB adapter, you can go online and access social networking and video streaming sites such as Facebook, YouTube and Google. Furthermore, keyboard and mouse support is available so you can use the player’s internal web browser without having to rely on a remote control or on-screen keyboard.

The AVerLife Extreme Vision offers a number of features which include two USB ports, eSATA, gigabit ethernet, 1080p HD video, file system support, video support, photo support, Dolby Digital and Dolby True-HD. File system support is compatible with NTFS, FAT32, FAT and EXDT3. Video support works with MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4, H.264, VC1, Xvid and WMV9. Photo support handles JPG, JPEG, BMP, PNG, TIFF and GIF. Audio support covers WMA, WMA9, WMA-Pro, MP1, MP2, LC-AAC, HE-AAC, OGG, WAV, PCM, LPCM and DTS. Lastly, Dolby Digital includes Vorbis, FLAC, MPA, M4A, MKA and DTS-HD.
