3D television, projectors and other displays have been gaining a lot of traction as of late thanks to a massive amount of hype supplied by hard hitting movies. While there are some complaints about the glasses you have to wear, the fact that there is a shortage of 3D content to actually view on such displays seems like a much more valid complaint. Luckily, there are many 3D Blu-ray movies along with various channels – one of them being ESPN 3D.

However, if you are an AT&T U-verse subscriber who found some fun in ESPN 3D you’re about to be disappointed. The reason I say this is because the company has recently announced that they will no longer be supporting the channel due to a low level of consumer interest.

This is too bad as watching sports in 3D seems like quite the event. Have you ever done it?
