Ah, the infamous mobile game starring the meaning-looking birds seems destined to make the transition from the small screen of your smartphone to your TV set. Well, developer Rovio just announced at the Social Gaming Summit that the game is soon to arrive on Xbox Live, Playstation Network, and WiiWare but they haven’t given an official price or release date yet, though.

Nonetheless, this game has been very popular on iOS, Android, and webOS in the meantime. Hopefully, the game will also find success on the three main gaming console systems, leading to a decent sequel. Perhaps then, Angry Birds will actually become a full-fledged gaming franchise in the near future.
