While Google TV powered devices may be just over the horizon, one company by the name of GPNC is taking the initiative to do things a bit differently. When I say differently, I mean that they are planning on releasing an Android powered TV onto the South Korean market.

What you see about is an Android powered 42-inch LED backlit HDTV with a 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio and USB connectivity dubbed the SmartRoi set for the South Korean market.

Unfortunately, that’s about all the details we have regarding the TV and the chances of it hitting North American shelves, if ever, remain slim to none.
