.Amtran Technology will begin shipping a 52-inch 1080p LCD TV model next month, according to the company. The display maker also said it plans to add 40- and 46-inch models to its existing LCD TV line up in the second half of 2007. The new 52-inch new model (GV52LF) features brightness 500 cd/m2, contrast ratio 1,000:1, viewing angle 178 degrees and a response time 15ms. Amtran GV52LF LCD TV will ship during July 2007. Amtran will also ship 32, 37 and 42-inch OEM/ODM LCD TVs to Japan later this month.
