Acer HN274H and HS244HQ 3D monitors

We have reported on Acer’s recent activities before with the H27H Full HD 27-inch Monitor (Now Available in Europe) and the H5360BD 3D Projector. Now they have two monitors with the HN274H and HS244HQ, both capable of 3D.

The HN274H is apparently the first 27-inch LED backlit monitor that supports both HDMI 3D and NVIDIA 3D Vision, which means it is good for Blu-Ray, TV set-top box, or PC gaming. It is limited to 1920 x 1080 resolution, with a dynamic contrast ratio of 100 million to one. It also has 300cd/m2 brightness and 2 ms response time, along with built-in IR emitter for the NVIDIA 3D glasses, as well as VGA, DVI, and three HDMI ports.

As for the HS244HQ, it is smaller at 23.6 inches and has same HD resolution, brightness, response time, but the contrast ratio of twelve million to one. There is not support for NVIDIA 3D Vision, but you get the 3D glasses.

The price of these Acer 3D monitors is $689 for the HN274H and the HS244HQ for $449.
