Yamaha has announced that two of their Digital Sound Projectors (or soundbars, to the layman) will be available in the United States sometime before the end of the month.
The YSP-5100 and YSP-4100 have 40 beam drivers, two woofers, a dedicated amplifier, HD Audio decoding, 1080p compatible HDMI (4 in and 1 out), and a UniVolume feature to maintain a consistent volume level. The YSP-5100 has an extra pair of tweeters, and costs about $2,199.95. As for the YSP-4100, it costs about $1,899.95.
