Watch this 3D Music Video without any glasses

Take a look at this video by Blue Roses by “Doubtful Comforts”. You may notice that it is in 3D, but you can leave the silly glasses behind.

I was skeptical when I first heard about this, and I have heard that some 3D is based on placebo. In other words, if you want to see something in 3D, then you will just imagine that you did. However, this video used what my source calls “wiggle stereoscopy” to create this effect. Apparently, it uses two cameras slightly offset from each other for that jittery imaging that you see.

I’m not certain if we will see more of these, but I think they are only appropriate for music videos with their weird imagery, like this one. I can’t imagine watching a full film with this shaky camera action going on.
