ViewSonic has announced that the shipment of the PJ359w projector has began. The fresh projector joins the market with a few interesting features, like an eco mode that preserves the lifetime of the lamp to 3,000 hours – pretty good!

On the technical side of the PJ359w, there is a 2,000 lumens brightness, and the ability output an image with a size of 50-inches, as close as 5.2 feet, which is close to 1.5 meters.

The big and native resolution of 1280×800 means that laptops won’t need to scale down in order to display an image. At the same time, personal computers and home theaters won’t encounter any problem.

The ViewSonic PJ359w should cost close to $1,300 and is already available.
