Everyone is trying to jump on the 3D bandwagon, and ViewSonic now seems just another gadget maker looking to cash in on the 3D craze. They’ve announced several new “ViewFun” camcorders, the top of the line model, Palm 3D HD, can record full HD 1080p in 3D, and sports a new LDC screen which can actually display the 3D footage you’re shooting. Price: $250.

Which begs the question: when regular, 2D cameras that retail for $250 usually shoot low grade video, how poor is the video when it’s shot in 3D for the same price? I guess we’ll know when the first reviews trickle out.
