For those of you who want more DIY action for your home theater might want to look into what Vidtonic is up to.

The company plans to show off what they do at CES, and they will show users how to build an Android TV. It has nothing to do with Google TV, but with the money you get casing, cables, a power supply, motherboard, plus all the necessary software tools.

More information will be available sometime around the second quarter of 2011, and some users should be able to get kits as early as Q1 of 2011.
