Recently, Velodyne Acoustics, world’s leading manufacturer of powered subwoofers, launched its new Optimum Subwoofers. Designed to deliver ultimate bass performance, these speakers can adjust for any source material. The Optimum Subwoofer series sports an elegant styling and deliver high performance.

"We’ve created extreme bass performance for the home that’s easy to understand and use, in a beautiful sub using quality craftsmanship that can be shown off, but is small enough to fit into any application," said Bruce Hall, president of Velodyne. "It’s the perfect combination that will please the most demanding audio customer."

The series comprises of three models, namely, Optimum-8, Optimum-10 and Optimum-12. All the three subwoofer models are powered by a Class D switching amplifier that deliver 1200 watts RMS and 2400 watts dynamic power. With all these models, you get a a remote control to adjust volume, phase and switching on and off.

The newly launched Optimum Series has been priced at $ 1,299 for the Optimum-08 model, $ 1,699 for the Optimum-10 model and $ 1,899 for the Optimum-12 model.
