University of Washington Biorobotics creats haptic feedback for the Kinect

Yeah, we have seen a lot of Kinect hacks lately, like the invisibility, surfing the web, or DaVinci Physics thing. Now there is some haptic feedback.

I had a hard time understanding what this was, but I believe that the Kinect can detect something on a table, and then somehow send impulses to somewhere else. This will enable someone who is very far away to “feel” something from a distance.

All you need is a 3D haptic controller and the popular Microsoft gaming peripheral.
