One of the caveats of 3D TVs is that they often come with only one or two pairs of 3D glasses, and buying a few more for the rest of the family can easily rise into the hundreds of dollars. Casio unveils XJ-H1650 and XJ-H1600 data projectors

Casio has done a lot of projectors in the past like the XJ-A245U. They did their first projector with the Laser and LED Hybrid Light Source in the second quarter of 2010, and it was 2,500 ANSI lumens. In the fourth quarter of 2010, they had a 3,000 ANSI lumens. read more…

Optoma Shows off EW536 WXGA Projector

Yet another projector has been announced for use in educational or enterprise settings – this time from Optoma. The company has stepped forward today to show off their EW536 projector. Seeing how it’s set for use within classrooms and the like don’t expect it to have any hard hitting features but it does pack a 1280 x 800 WXGA resolution, 2,800 ANSI lumens and a 3,000:1 contrast ratio. read more…
