Oh, NEC is at it again, cranking out another couple of new LCD monitors. This time, they’re known as the 19-inch MultiSync EA192M and the 20-inch MultiSync E201W. These monitors are LED-backlit and they carry Energy Star 5.0 and TCO 5.0 compliance. They also feature 25,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness and 5ms response time. However, the EA192M has a 1280 x 1024 resolution while the E201W sports a 1600 x 900 native resolution. In addition to this, a series of connectivity ports such as DVI-D, VGA and DisplayPort are also included. Thus, the NEC MultiSync EA192M is priced at $199 while the NEC MultiSync E201W will retail for $239 and they will be available sometime this month.
