According to my Source, a recent Nielsen survey has revealed that consumers aren’t that big on 3D after all.

I’m not certain if this comes as a surprise to you, but most put the glasses as the number one reason that they put off 3D. It has nothing to do as to the glasses hurting their eyes, but ninety percent said they would like to do other things while watching TV. These are things you just can’t do when you’re wearing glasses.

I can’t say that I am too surprised with the results of this survey. As much as I love to go to the theater and watch Avatar, most of my TV/movie watching is done on a small corner of my screen on my laptop.

Unless the Internet can be in 3D too. Oh boy, did I just open up some new market here?
