While LucasArts announced earlier this year that Star Wars was coming to Blu-ray, we didn’t get a firm release date, we only got “September”. Now you can mark your calendars, because the Star Wars Blu-ray set will be dropping on September 16, 2011.
Star Wars will be released in two trilogies, the first three films and the last three films, each trilogy will retail at $60. Or you can get the complete set with additional extra content, like never before seen outakes and footage, for $130.
