Sony has recently updated their Sony Walkman W Series with two new interesting features.

The first is that it is waterproof according to IPX5 standards. The second is they have a Metal Gear Solid theme with its camo-ish design and even comes with six songs straight from the soundtrack.

Otherwise, it has 4GB of internal memory, a USB mini port, and compatibility with ATRAC/MP3/WMA/AAC and Linear PCM (WAV) formats.

This NWD-W253 will cost about $110 and will be available in Japan for May 22nd.
