Sony KDL55EX710 Television Review-Seems To Be Worth It

And now, to close out the week, we’ve got a sweet dose of Sony for you–specifically, the Sony KDL55EX710, a powerful piece of television hardware that’ll bring plenty of options and good quality sound and video.

The Sony KDL55EX710 is a fifty five inch 1080p LED television that offers Internet connectivity for easy access to online content sources like YouTube and Netflix via your choice of an Ethernet port or a Wi-Fi adapter, which you’ll have to get yourself, BRAVIA Engine 3 with Deep Color and Live Color and 120Hz Motionflow technology, the 20W Invisible MTS stereo system, two component video inputs, two composite video inputs, one RF input, four audio inputs, four HDMI inputs, one PC input, one optical digital audio output, one audio output, theater mode, and BRAVIA Sync.

Pretty nice set of features, no?  Well, it gets even better–the picture and the sound are both fantastic on this one–I definitely liked them, anyway. Great features, great picture, great sound–it’s hard not to like this one when you see it, but that’s where the downside kicks in, such as it is.

The folks out at Best Buy want $2160 for one of these, which is pretty substantial by most any standard. Though for a fifty five inch television (it really doesn’t get much bigger than that), it’s not exactly out of line.  And the Sony KDL55EX710 definitely seems to be worth it.
