Here is a monstrous looking DVR recorder, the SnapStream DVR recorder which can reportedly capture 50 channels simultaneously. It comes with five separate rack-mounted SnapStream DVRs that work across tuners and share storage.

There is no word on how much this device would cost but looks like it will be limited to the geeks rather than the home entertainment class customers.
