Six-Channel Switch Box from R.E. Designs

April 1, in DVD-Audio News

Dan Banquer of R.E. Designs, recently told High Fidelity Review of a new product currently in development – a passive six-channel switchbox. R.E. Designs are manufacturers of the highly respected SCPA-1 six-channel analogue preamplifier and SB-1 two-channel switchbox.

In an exclusive interview with High Fidelity Review, Dan told us “…the unit will switch between the two six channel inputs and have an off position to switch both off at once. It will be the quietest unit on the market with superior grounding and shielding and have gold-plated RCA jacks”.

Dan expects the new switchbox, which will enable two six-channel analogue sources to be connected to a single six-channel input array, to be available by Autumn 2002. No projected price is available.
