Sharp Presents The Smallest Digital TV Tuner Ever Made

June 28, in Home Theater

Apparently, Sharp recently made the smallest digital TV tuner in existence today. It’s called the VA1N2WF2121 digital TV tuner, measured at 30mm x 29.6mm x 5mm, which makes it 70% smaller and 50% thinner than earlier models. Interestingly enough, Sharp achieved this smaller design for the TV tuner by trimming down used parts and elements from 300 to 80. The Sharp VA1N2WF2121 digital TV tuner supports DVB-T, ATSC, ISDB-T/TB, DVB-T/T2 and CTTB and it can be used in Japan, Europe, North America, China and South America.
