Samsung UN40C5000QF Television Review-

I have seen a great many things come out of Samsung, both spectacular and horrendous, and today, I have a new model from Samsung to talk about.  Today we’ve got another in the growing LED line from Samsung, the UN40C5000QF, and it’s on the low end of the spectrum on pretty much every score but price.

The Samsung UN40C5000QF is a forty inch 1080p LED television that offers the Wide Color Enhancer Plus systems for better color and detail, two ten watt speakers with Dolby Digital and DTS, four HDMI ports, one component video input, one ethernet port, one PC input, one optical audio output, two USB inputs, AnyNet Plus, ConnectShare Movie, and Game Mode for reduced blurring at high speeds.

There’s not too much to talk about with this one, sadly–it’s all sitting right there in that thoroughly lackluster spec sheet.  Admittedly, the picture is about as good as an LED television gets, and the sound quality is pretty solid too, but this isn’t the best of televisions to use as a hub.  Four HDMI ports is solid enough, sure, but with only one component video port, this isn’t a good one for folks with older equipment.

And the price isn’t exactly in line, either–Best Buy wants a thousand and eighty bucks (discounted from twelve hundred) for it.

Value is pretty light here, but still, if you do end up with a Samsung UN40C5000QF, you’ll likely be fairly happy.  However, there are still much better options out there for you, many of which we’ve written about right here.
