Samsung Has Over 1 Million TV App Downloads, Laughs at Google TV

Google and Apple are currently duking it out to see who will be the top dog when it comes to Internet connected media viewing. While Apple is currently focusing on streaming content, Google is taking things a step further allowing consumers to do things like browse the web and download applications. However, while both of these solutions have been out for some time, Samsung has had their Internet connected televisions out for even longer.

In fact, Samsung has recently released a report saying that applications have officially been downloaded from their Smart TV app store over one million times. Popular applications that are found within this app store include Netflix, Twitter, Pandora, Vudu, Picasa and more.
