Pioneer Presents The CDJ-850 Media Player

Recently, Pioneer released a new media player called the CDJ-850, which is intended for career disc jockeys, novices and other people who enjoy mixing tracks. This device is the type of quality equipment to be used by seasoned professionals in clubs, music studios and personal parties. It comes with a deck that sports CD playback and a 206mm jog dial on its top for pitch control, song selection, and search/seek control on CDs and digital music files on a connected device.

Meanwhile, the CDJ-850 itself features digital music compatibility for MP3, AAC, WAV, and AIFF formats from any attached USB device or burned CD and an included application called Rekordbox. The app was created to help you arrange and personalize your track collection by genre, type, BPM and tempo. This allows you to prepare a mix and do beat-matching with songs in your track collection. The media player also shows you track information in its internal display. Thus, the Pioneer CDJ-850 is available next month at a price of $999.
