Recently, Philips released another LED-backlit monitor, this one known as the 226CL2. The device is 21.5-inch widescreen monitor that features 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 20,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness and 2ms (GTG) response time. Furthermore, the monitor is also equipped with the SmartImage technology, which is designed to adjust its performance according to the type of content that’s being displayed like video games or video. In addition to this, D-sub and DVI connectors are included as well. Thus, the Philips 226CL2 will be available this November for 165 Euro ($232).
