Today, Philips revealed that it’s offering Blockbuster Video’s on-demand service with its Blu-ray players. So, the Philips 5320 and 7230 Blu-ray players are now equipped with this new feature, allowing customers to access new releases from the video rental company. With Blockbuster On Demand, customers can now watch new film titles instantly on the very same day that they are released on DVD and Blu-ray. According to Bruce Anderson, general manager of Blockbuster On Demand, the Philips Blu-ray players are ideal for watching the latest movie releases and film classics and Blockbuster is happy to improve this experience for consumers.
