OnLives video game program goes out of beta soon, for $10 a month

Some of you might remember when we covered OnLive and how they want to stream video games.

It goes out of beta on the January 15th, 2011, which will give “subscribers access to a back catalog of forty retired and indie titles” for about $9.99 a month. If you have purchased the $99 MicroConsole, then you can have 14 full games instantly ready the moment it is booted up.

Other features involve paying month-to-month, and store and saving games, for a full year.

Will OnLive a “game-changer” for games? We will see.
