When it comes to video streaming in the United States Netflix is the clear winner with their Stream Instantly service available on many different plaforms. However, what if the country’s leading television manufacutrer were to team up with an up and coming game streaming service to take on the instantly streaming behemoth?

If rumors are to be believed we may find out next year as Vizio and OnLive are reportedly teaming up in an attempt to oust Netflix from the top spot. Of course, nothing official has been said just yet but reports come straight from the Wall Street Journal so you know their is definitely some weight behind these rumors.

If Vizio were to utilize their massive marketshare to push a new video streaming service, perhaps Netflix will be getting a run for its money after all. We’ll have to wait and see
