OnLive Announces MicroConsole For Release At Years End

June 19, in Console Gaming

Recently at E3, Steve Perlman of OnLive revealed that his company’s new home gaming system, the MicroConsole is scheduled to hit the stores at the end of 2010. This part of gaming hardware will be the main connection for OnLive’s featured service to your TV set.

Furthermore, Perlman described the upcoming launch of MicroConsole as a “bumpy take-off”. Apparently, the company is taking its time with this product release to make sure they get everything working right. Currently, the device is still in development and Mr. Perlman reports that it’s being tested by beta users on mobile devices such as the iPhone, iPad and Android right now.
