Onkyo Releases Two 3D Home Theater Boxes

In today’s culture, 3D is the gimmick that sells, so Onkyo is utilizing this trend with the release of two 3D-equipped home theater box systems. They’re known as the HT-S6300 and HT-S7300 and they feature HDMI-1.4a inputs, 1080p video upscaling, DTS high definition audio, Dolby height processing and Audyssey automatic room equalization. Each of these home theater sets also include seven home theater loudspeakers, a subwoofer, an audio-video receiver, an Audyssey calibration microphone and a dock for iPod Touch and iPhone.

However, the two systems each have individual specifications as well. The HT-S7300 offers twin 41-inch tall floor-standing speakers with dual, vertically arrayed woofers. Meanwhile, the HT-6300 comes with six one-foot tall bookshelf speakers and a horizontal center speaker. Thus, the Onkyo Home Theater Box systems are available for retail right now. The HT-S6300 is priced at $749 while the HT-S7300 costs $899.
