Privacy Policy

This policy defines the commitment of High Fidelity Review and SMR Group to protect the privacy of personal information that is collected or used in the course of publishing and maintaining our internet sites. SMR Forums and SMR Home Theatre will establish and maintain procedures that are consistent with this policy.

· High Fidelity Review and SMR Group respect the legal requirements that exist regarding the privacy of personal information and are committed to complying with all applicable laws. High Fidelity Review and SMR Group will regularly review their information collection, use and disclosure practices in order to assure compliance with changing laws and regulations.

· High Fidelity Review and SMR Group will give notice in advance when personal information is collected, explain the need for the information and describe how the information will be used. High Fidelity Review and SMR Group will not share any collected information with any third parties.

· High Fidelity Review and SMR Group will explain the consequences of any decision by individuals not to provide personal information that High Fidelity Review and SMR Group wishes to collect or use. Regarding information about children or other categories of sensitive information, High Fidelity Review and SMR Group will adopt procedures to assure that such information is only collected with suitable consent and is protected against improper use.

· Personal information will be collected and used by High Fidelity Review and SMR Group consistently with the notices that have been provided. However, High Fidelity Review and SMR Group may remove the identifiable features of collected personal information and employ the aggregate information for marketing and statistical purposes other than the announced uses. Personal information will not be used directly to market any products or services unless that possibility has been expressly disclosed in advance.

· High Fidelity Review and SMR Group will maintain the security of personal information, and protect the integrity of such information, with the same care used to protect its own similar sensitive information.

· In acquiring or providing information to others, including those which High Fidelity Review and SMR Group may engage to provide support services, High Fidelity Review and SMR Group will require them to adopt and comply with the principles of this policy and employ appropriate business procedures.

· High Fidelity Review and SMR Group shall establish, and make publicly available, the procedures to be employed in responding to any complaint regarding the possible failure of High Fidelity Review and SMR Group to comply with its established procedures for the protection of personal information.

· Under certain circumstances permitted by law, High Fidelity Review and SMR Group may collect, use and disclose personal information pursuant to special procedures that do not require giving notice or conducting similar activities (for example, in connection with law enforcement investigations).

· High Fidelity Review and SMR Group servers are located outside the European Union. Personal information, gathered in accordance with the principles set out above and relating to visitors residing in Member States of the European Union, will be stored on those servers. By agreeing to this policy, users residing in Member States of the European Union expressly agree to their personal information being stored on such servers.
