I think we all know the Netflix on Android is a very good thing. It was rather limited.

Now, thanks to a recent update, Neflix for Android is available on the LG Revolution, Casio G’zOne Commando C771, Motorola Droid, as well as any other device that can operate upon its own.

In addition to supporting these three phones, Netflix removed a device check that previously blocked unsupported handsets from attempting playback. Apparently, it all works on Droid X and Droid X2, not to mention the Xperia Play.

Well, I suppose that we all knew that Netflix on Android would be big, I suppose that is only a question of how big. Yes, I suppose it is only a matter of time before these movie streaming apps take over and days of cable and renting movies are history. Yeah, this might be a while, but hey, we all knew that apps like these are a veritable home theater killer.
