Netflix has recently offered a streaming-only option, so that customers can view films through streaming, but no DVD rentals.

Netflix is also increasing the price of its streaming-plus-DVD-by-mail plans by $1 to $8 per month, depending on the option.

No doubt this price reduction, which is about $7.99 per month, is meant to match other streaming services like Hulu Plus.
