Recently, Japan-based NEC released their latest Multi-Sync monitor called the E231W. This device features a 23 inch screen, DisplayPort, 1080p resolution, ambient light sensor, 250 nits of brightness, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio and 4-way adjustability (height, tilt, swivel, and pivot). Furthermore, the E231W uses less energy (only 28W) than the previous model. There’s even a three-year warranty included with this monitor. Thus, the NEC E231W is priced at $299 and will become available later this month.
