Mitsubishi Re-launches Laser Vue HDTV With 3D And 75 Inch Screen

Originally, the Laser Vue from Mitsubishi came out in 2008 with a 65 inch screen and the expensive, hefty set hasn’t been all that popular with consumers since those last couple of years. However, Engadget still considers it to be the “best looking consumer-level set” they’ve ever seen and they’re very excited to see the massive TV’s re-launch.

That’s right, dear readers! Mitsubishi is re-releasing the Laser Vue and this time, it’s coming as a 75 inch screen TV measured at 41.7- x 66.4- x 15-inches and it’s packing 3D. Furthermore, the 3D Starter Pack, which consists of a 3D emitter, 3D Adapter with remote, an HDMI cable and a Blu-ray Disc with a collection of video clips is also offered with a purchase of the massive TV set. Meanwhile, the Laser Vue itself is featuring web connectivity for streaming video, four HDMI-CEC inputs, a wired IR output and 1080p resolution.

By itself, this enormous HDTV set is priced at a cost of $5,999. But the 3D Starter Pack will be an additional $399 and there’s a $99 3D adapter available as well. Now that’s quite a large investment but it might be worth emptying the wallet to have a 3D experience on a 75 inch screen at home.
