Mitsubishi HC7000U Projector

Mitsubishi Digital Electronics has recently unveiled its new HC7000U Projector. Considered as a high-end 1080p home theater projector, HC7000U is also been displayed at the CEDIA Expo in Denver. Using polarization, this projector can reach its ultra-high contrast ratio of 70,000:1.

The new HC7000U Projector delivers a high brightness of 1,200 ANSI lumens and supports a contrast ratio of 70,000:1. It can also support two different anamorphic lens formats to allow users to quickly switch between 2.35:1 or 16:9 aspect ratios. This new projector from Mitsubishi incorporates a pair of HDMI 1.3 inputs.

Featuring the Reon-VX, Hollywood Quality Video rating, this new projector is able to deinterlace 1080i signals to 1080p. Mitsubishi HC7000U Projector will be available in the market from September 2008 onwards at a price of $ 3,995.
