McTIVia shows up at Macworld 2011

I wasn’t able to go to MacWorld 2011 this year, but I am told that one of the big things this year was the McTIVia.

I realize that sounds like some new special at McDonalds, but it is a wireless router that allows the user to stream all of the content of a PC or Mac to a big-screen TV via Wi-Fi.

It will even act as a home wireless access point, without the need of another set-top box. Best of all, the user can use his or her iPhone or Android phone as a remote controller. You got to like that.

You might not like the price, which is $199.99.
