Marantz just came out with a new CD player and integrated amplifier called the PM5004 and CD5004. The Marantz PM5004 features a 40 Watt output per channel at 8 Ohms, a THD of 0.05% (20Hz – 20kHz, 8 Ohms), a frequency response of 10Hz – 50kHz and a S/N rato of 103dB. This amplifier is also measured at 440mm ? 370mm ? 105mm and it weighs 6.7kg.

Meanwhile, the Marantz CD5004 offers a range of 100dB, a frequency Response of 2Hz – 20000Hz, a THD 0.002% and a S/N ratio of 110dB. This CD player is packing an independent gold-plated RCA analog L&R out, TOSLINK Digital optical out and gold-plated RCA digital coaxial out. Both Marantz devices are set for retail availability midway through July in Japan.
