LGs new Cinema 3D TV range

LG is always up to something when it comes to TVs, such as the LG PW350 Plasma 3DTVs in 42 and 50 inch variants, not to mention the LG PZ550 50- and 60-inch 3DTVs.

The company has just introduced the first Cinema 3D TV range that offers flicker free 3D images in South Korea. It offers something better for the eyes with LG’s Film Patterned Retarder (FPR) technology that “will optimize the separation of images for the left and right eye, these separated images will then be matched with Cinema 3D glasses which were specially designed to receive each image, hence resulting in an outstandingly smooth 3D picture”.

This will apparently do something about that dizzy feeling as well as the eye fatigue from viewing 3DTV content in the past. The 3D glasses, with no technological parts, will be lighter as well.

There is no word on a price for these guys, but I’m sure there will be at some point.
