LG to Display Flicker-free LW6500 Cinema 3DTV at CES 2011

With all of the announcements surfacing just about every day it’s no secret that CES 2011 is shaping up to be a big one. Not only are a whole slew of different smartphones, MP3 players and other mobile devices exepcted to be announced but televisions will definitely be making an appearance.

LG, for one, is expected to debut a whole line up of different televisions with the latest of such offerings being the LW6500 Cinema 3DTV. What’s special about this televison, you ask? Well, not only does it feature compatibility with pass 3D glasses (goodbye expesnive active shutter shades!) but it’s also gauranteed by the company to be flicker-free. Past that LG also threw in a brightness booster for correct brightness levels while displaying 3D content.

Seeing how this television has yet to be formally announced, we won’t know how much it will go for or when we will pick it up until CES next week.
