LG 55LX9500 Television Review-Huge And Beautiful With Less Than Great Sound

It’s not just Mitsubishis that manage to land in the Magnolia assortment out at Best Buy, folks–no sir!  Or ma’am as the case may be…but anyway. There are also LGs that get in too, and that’s what we’re talking about today, the LG 55LX9500.

The LG 55LX9500 is a fifty five inch 1080p LED television that offers Internet connectivity for easy access to the Internet’s incredible volume of content, eight picture modes, three color temperature modes, the Intelligent Sensor system that determines the best settings for your television, the Infinite Sound surround system with Dolby Digital decoder, two A/V inputs, three component inputs, four HDMI inputs, one PC input, one Ethernet jack, one digital audio output, a USB port and a headphone jack.

As you’d probably expect, the picture is absolutely breathtaking, and the sound is still pretty exciting for a television (though not as good as some I’ve heard, a strange occurrance to say the least), but then, so is the price tag.  Sit down, if you’re not already, and don’t take a drink before I tell you that Best Buy wants a whopping five grand for this.

It’s an amazing television, with plenty of love for literally all of your hardware, new and old and stuff you pulled out of the closet just to hook up to this unbelievable television set but you WILL pay out the nose for it.

The LG 55LX9500 is an amazing television that costs about as much as some used cars.  Like I said, it’s incredible, but it’ll be up to you to tell if it’s sufficiently incredible to merit that kind of expense.
