LG 37LE5300 Television Review-A Fairly Attractive Model

Last week we gave you some low-priced hardware to have a look at, and this week we’re going to step it up a notch by checking out some of the higher end LED televisions out there. But fear not, for some relatively decent deals will still be on hand here to boot. We start our journey with a look at the LG 37LE5300.

The LG 37LE5300 is a thirty seven inch 1080p LED television that offers TruMotion 120hz to reduce blurring in high speed shots, Smart Energy Savings to keep your power bill down, Intelligent Sensor to automatically adjust settings according to conditions, two ten watt speakers, an AV mode to further adjust settings according to specifics, 24p Real Cinema mode, Clear Voice II to improve dialogue, Dolby Digital decoders, four HDMI ports, two component inputs, two composite inputs, an RF input, a PC input, a PC audio input, a USB port, an optical digital audio output, and a headphone jack.

Lots of great stuff in this one, with just as much room for your new components as the old ones. The video is pretty good quality, though a little on the smallish side at thirty seven inches, and the sound isn’t the best but ten watts with a Dolby Digital decoder backing the play still isn’t bad. There’s a lot to like here and plenty of good value.

The price may be a little more than you’ll want to pay at right around eight hundred bucks, and you can do better, but the quality should be there–at least I thought it was pretty solid.

The LG 37LE5300 won’t be mistaken for the best value on the market, but it will do a nice job of supplying what you want in a television.
